Speckle Members Start in March!
You’ll Have Access to a Gorgeous New Studio Space, Private Shelf Storage, Monthly Members-Only Workshops, and More!
Enjoy the small joy of making whenever you please as a Speckle Studio member. We have 18 wheels, three big work areas, a slab roller, kitchen, backyard, balcony, and an art and clay supply shop. We glaze fire to cone 6 and bisque at 06.
Members have their own private shelf for work storage, as well as access to monthly member-only workshops, community tools, and a member’s-first holiday sale.
Membership Tiers
Right now, we offer three tiers of membership: Luster, Titanium, and Rutile. (Tiers might change as we get settled in.)
All memberships include studio access 7 days-a-week from 6am-Midnight, except for our annual holiday closure from Dec 24th-31st.
Things to Note:
We can’t accommodate production potters at this time.
All work must fit on your private shelf.
The last bits of our build are almost finished! We are accepting applications now and getting Members set up. The studio will be ready for Members by mid-March.
Luster
Pricing: $300/month with a 3 month minimum commitment (10% discount if paid annually)

Pricing: $250/month with a 3 month minimum commitment (10% discount if paid annually)

Towel & Apron Cleaning: Not Included
Class & Workshop Discounts: $30 off classes, $20 off workshops
Rutile Sold Out
Pricing: $175/month with a 6 month minimum commitment (10% discount if paid annually)
Shelf Size: 31”L x 12”D x 11”H
Monthly Member Education Workshops: $25
Firing Fees for Glaze: $1.25/pound, $2.25/pound for Oversize
Towel & Apron Cleaning: Not Included

What makes a Speckle Member?
You’re passionate about your clay practice and will be in the studio at least 2-3 times per week.
Your presence in the studio contributes to the collective. You recognize your part in keeping our space lovely, clean, and functional—in making our community brighter.
You’re eager to take part in member nights and workshops, in mentoring others when asked, and being a part of the whole.
You’ve graduated from at least one 6 week beginner class at a clay studio, feel confident in either wheel throwing or hand building, and understand how to correctly approach and care for our shared space, glazes, and equipment.
You’re here to be imperfect, to grow and learn, and make art!
How To Apply
Yay! Thank you for your interest in Speckle Studio. To get started, fill out the application form on this page.
After receiving your application, we’ll get in touch.
Once you hear back from us, we’ll coordinate your visit to the studio during one of our Member Sign Up windows (Wednesdays 5-6pm; Sundays Noon-1pm) to finish your registration.
Memberships will officially begin in mid-March. We will keep you updated on the exact start date as soon as we know it!
